Ball Drives 4 Runners Home In Master's Academy Eagles Victory Over Orangewood Christian

Ball drove in four runs on four hits to lead Master's Academy Eagles past Orangewood Christian 15-0 on Tuesday at The Master's Academy. Ball singled in the first inning, scoring two runs, and hit a home run to left field in the fourth inning, scoring two.
Master's Academy Eagles got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after an error scored one run, Burkhead homered to center field, scoring two runs, Catalano singled, scoring one run, Mennenga singled, scoring one run, and Ball singled, scoring two runs.
Master's Academy Eagles added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning when an error scored one run, and Martin singled, scoring two runs.
Master's Academy Eagles added two runs in the third. Peri singled to center field, making the score 12-0.
Three more Master's Academy Eagles runs crossed the plate in the fourth inning to extend the lead to 15-0. Mennenga grounded out, scoring one run, and Ball homered to left field, scoring two runs.
Peri earned the win for Master's Academy Eagles. The pitcher allowed zero hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out six and walking three. Snelson took the loss for Orangewood Christian. The starting pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, giving up 15 runs (two earned) on 10 hits, striking out one and walking six.
