Martin Leads Master's Academy Eagles Past Orangewood Christian

Martin collected four hits in five at bats, as Master's Academy Eagles defeated Orangewood Christian 10-6 on Tuesday. Martin doubled in the seventh inning, singled in the first inning, singled in the second inning, and singled in the sixth inning.
Orangewood Christian jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Snelson singled, scoring one run, and Shupert doubled, scoring two runs.
Master's Academy Eagles flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring five runs on four hits to take the lead, 5-3. The biggest blow in the inning was an error that drove in two.
Orangewood Christian scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh on a home run to left field by Putt.
Peri earned the win for Master's Academy Eagles. The hurler surrendered four hits and three runs over six and two-thirds innings, striking out 11 and walking two. Snelson took the loss for Orangewood Christian. The starting pitcher went seven innings, surrendering 10 runs (two earned) on 11 hits, striking out four and walking two.
Master's Academy Eagles tallied 11 hits in the game. McMeel provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Master's Academy Eagles with three runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Peri collected two hits for Master's Academy Eagles in four at bats. Master's Academy Eagles were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Aaron made the most plays with five.
Snelson and Shupert each collected two hits for Orangewood Christian. Putt, Shupert, and Snelson each drove in two runs for Orangewood Christian. Orangewood Christian turned two double plays in the game.
