Powerful Pitching Performance From Peri Carries Master's Academy Eagles Past Trinity Christian Academy

Peri was dominant in the circle, as the righty rang up 10 strikeouts in Master's Academy Eagles's 7-3 victory over Trinity Christian Academy on Tuesday at The Master's Academy. Peri allowed seven hits and three runs over seven innings while walking three.

Trinity Christian Academy were the first to get on the board in the third when Lewis doubled, scoring two runs.

Master's Academy Eagles jumped into the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Martin homered to center field, scoring two runs, Peri hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Williams drew a walk, scoring one run.

Master's Academy Eagles added three more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning on three hits. Burkhead homered to center field, scoring two runs, and Peri doubled, scoring one run.

Hoff took the loss for Trinity Christian Academy. The pitcher went five and one-third innings, giving up six runs on six hits, striking out none and walking four.

Burkhead led Master's Academy Eagles with two hits in four at bats.

Lewis provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Trinity Christian Academy with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Lewis and Rohr each collected two hits for Trinity Christian Academy. Trinity Christian Academy were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Falco made the most plays with six.

Master's Academy Eagles will travel to Lyman for their next game on Thursday.
