McMeel Drives In Many Batters As Master's Academy Varsity Eagles Lose To Seminole

McMeel drove in four on four hits, but Master's Academy Varsity Eagles fell to Seminole 9-7 on Tuesday.
Seminole opened the scoring in the third after Baker singled, scoring two runs.
Master's Academy Varsity Eagles flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fourth, scoring five runs on four hits to take the lead, 6-5. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by McMeel that drove in two.
Seminole took the lead in the top of the sixth. Farran hit a grand slam to center field, to give Seminole the leg up, 9-6.
Master's Academy Varsity Eagles scored one run in the bottom of the sixth on a solo home run to center field by McMeel.
Long earned the win for Seminole. The pitcher surrendered two hits and one run over three and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking one. Catalano took the loss for Master's Academy Varsity Eagles. The right-handed pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, giving up six runs on eight hits, striking out none and walking none. Peri opened the game for Master's Academy Varsity Eagles. The starter gave up two hits and three runs over three and one-third innings, striking out six and walking four. Arias began the game for Seminole. The starting pitcher gave up four hits and five runs over three and one-third innings, striking out three and walking six.
Catalano collected two hits for Master's Academy Varsity Eagles in four at bats. Ball led Master's Academy Varsity Eagles with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing nine walks for the game.
Seminole amassed 10 hits in the game. Farran drove the middle of the lineup, leading Seminole with five runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Davidson and Romero each collected three hits for Seminole.
Master's Academy Varsity Eagles play at home on Thursday against DeLand in their next game.
