Tennis to Celebrate Senior Night Friday

The Master's Academy boys and girls varsity tennis teams will celebrate four seniors this week as they host their final home match this Friday against Cornerstone Academy. Amarelye Camacho, Gavin Darnell, Lila Escobar, and Isabella Gentile have helped lead some of the most successful seasons in TMA tennis history, combining for 60 total singles wins over their careers.

Gavin has primarily played No. 1 singles this year for the TMA boys team, which is currently on a three-match winning streak. During his junior year, he earned several wins at No. 5 singles, and in his sophomore season, the team finished with a school-best 12 wins.

This season, Amarelye has consistently faced each team's top player, earning six wins at No. 1 singles. She recorded a career-best seven wins during her sophomore year while competing at both No. 1 and No. 2 singles. Isabella and Lila have also had standout careers, each recording seven singles wins in their respective seasons. In addition, Amarelye, Lila, and Isabella have combined for more than 20 doubles wins over their careers.

The trio has also played a key role in one of the best starts in TMA girls tennis history, with a 10–2 record heading into the final week of the regular season.
