MS Girls Soccer News

The Lady Eagles Middle School Soccer Team finished second in their conference! They had a competitive season with a record of 7 wins and 4 losses. Andrea Maskiell led the team offensively with ten goals and one assist while Breanna Kegelman played in goal for the Lady Eagles and led the defense with 57 saves. Both Bella Garzon and McCall LeDuc were invited to join the varsity team once their middle school season was complete. The middle school girls soccer team was defeated by Lake Highland Prep 1-3 in their last regular season game. Despite their loss, they had to play Lake Highland again in the semi-final game of the conference tournament. They secured a spot in the finals after a sudden death victory. The score was tied 1-1 after regulation and 2 overtime periods. The girls pulled out a 4-3 win in a penalty kick shootout. The next morning, the girls found themselves playing their final game of the season against Orangewood. They couldn’t pull out the win, losing 0-3, but they had a great season finishing up with a 7-4 record. Read more ...
