Athletic Director's Comment
As the winter season comes to a close it is great to see how much our athletes have accomplished. The varsity girls soccer team had an inspired season, ending with a 17-5-1 record. The Lady Eagles were District Champions for the second year in a row and managed to make it to the Regional Semi-finals where they were defeated 2-3 in the last minute of the game. The varsity girls basketball team also had a successful season with a 19-6 record. The basketball team was District Runner-Up and made it to the Regional Quarter-Finals. Both the boys soccer and basketball teams worked to improve their skills and look forward to next season. The middle school soccer teams had great success this season as both the boys and girls finished in second place in the Greater Metro Conferences.
The spring season has started, and we are looking forward to the excitement of baseball, softball, track and tennis. We are excited to field our first middle school softball team this year to help build a strong varsity program. The middle school and varsity teams will be led by new coaches Lauren McClain and Nicole Chessum. TMA varsity and middle school baseball anticipate an exciting season under varsity Coach Bob Down and middle school Coach Charlie Fish. Tennis and Track look to improve their skills and have successful seasons.
